Forgive yourself by yielding to the power of the Holy Spirit. Did you know that over two thousand years ago God forgave all of us of our sins and transgressions yes even infidelity, lying, cheating, adultery, fornication and addictions?
Now all He wants you to do is to accept His forgiveness and be reconciled to Him and move forward.
For some this may be harder than forgiving another person but it can be done.
You must realize that if you confess your sin, God is faithful and just to forgive your sin and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness according to 1st John 1:9.
God has forgiven you so you must forgive yourself. The one thing I know is that we all make terrible mistakes in life and do things to other people and ourselves that we never dreamed we’d do.
God knew that before we did and made provision through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for us by His Grace that we wouldn’t have to pay the price and go to hell.
Now, I didn’t say there wouldn’t be consequences of some of the dumb decisions we make but you can be forgiven.
There truly are consequences to some of the things we choose to do because there are laws set in place like the law of gravity that if you jump off a building you will probably break a bunch of stuff. But you can go to the hospital and possibly still live.
The scripture says, “Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He will have love, pity, and mercy for him, and to our God for He will multiply to him His abundant pardon.” (Isaiah 55:7)Amplified
You can forgive yourself by changing the way you think.Change your thoughts for as a man/woman thinks in his/her heart so is he/her. (Proverbs 23:7)
I’ve learned that whatever you meditate on you become. Know that God has made a way of escape for you by His Grace. He encourages us in Romans 12:1-3 to renew our minds through the Bible where we can see how He thinks about us and we can begin to think that way about ourselves.
Know that God loves you, forgive yourself, let it drop, let it go, release it and let God heal you totally and completely.
Remember we love you and know that because we have been there and done that and live victoriously today without guilt or shame we are here to help you and yours.
